Short Bio
I got my BSc in Computer Engineering in 2005, and my MSc in 2008. I have been working for the University of Sevilla since 2008, and my research focuses on information integration using semantic-web technologies, benchmarking semantic-web technologies and web page classification. I am an active researcher of The Distributed Group.
From 2005 to 2008, I worked for different companies: Mundivía (Atos Origin), Matchmind (Telvent) and TB-Solutions. In these companies, I worked as a software engineer developing web applications for a number of clients, such as Carrefour, Endesa or Telvent.
In 2008, I got a PhD research grant at the University of Sevilla, and I started my research under the supervision of Dr. David Ruiz and Dr. Rafael Corchuelo. In my MSc, my research focused on integrating deep-web applications. In my PhD, my research focuses on the integration of semantic-web ontologies. Furthermore, in 2011, I have taught matters about software engineering at the University of Sevilla.
